Software and Computer Museum in Kharkov

The modern museum of the history of software and computer. The collection is based on a variety of computers from the 1930s to the present, including personal computers, portable devices, game consoles and etc.

The museum owners managed to collect more than 100 exhibits, 70% of which still work.
Three Kharkiv citizens collected here more than a hundred technical devices - from one of the starting projects of Steve Jobs to modern glasses of the augmented reality of Microsoft HoloLens.

Most of the exhibits were collected over the past four years by enthusiast and collector Alexander Kovalenko. The exposition includes the Apple II computer created by Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs back in 1977, the first commercially successful notebook 12 kilogram Osborne 1, the BBC computer for "improving computer literacy," and about ten Soviet developments of the 1970s and 1980s and the staff, through which graphic designers created the master Yoda from the "Star Wars".
Of the more recent developments on the stands you can find a game console 1995 release, which was first applied the effect of virtual reality, the first model of the iPhone and glasses from Microsoft.
The exposition is not yet finished, the search for Soviet technology is continuing, as well as the creation of a separate exhibition dedicated to the development of smartphones. The last stand enthusiasts intentionally left empty, signing it "here maybe it's your discovery."

They want to convey the message that the development of devices, that speeds up the calculations and makes them more accurate, began long ago.
The founders plan to hold thematic presentations and open a demonstration room for children, where they can assemble a Chinese robot.

Software and Computer Museum will begin training courses in September for those whose age is over 40.
