Life in Kharkov

Life in Kharkov is ..different. It's changing each season. In winter there is plenty of snow which is not being cleaned. That is why people prefer to spend their time at home, in night clubs or restaurants. They visit theaters and cinemas more often this time of the year. Summer time is beautiful here. There are many parks, open-air night clubs, patios at cafes are open, also, people tend to spend much of their time out of the city.

There is a big expat community so there is no way you feel lonely :) It is an international city which hosts businessmen and students from all over the world. However, people will still be intrigued when hear you speaking a foreign language :)
