Metro

 

From the beginning of the September in Kharkov metro an automatic payment system started to operate. The first automates which sell tokens are installed at Radyanska metro station. They are called up to replace the human labor. By the most conservative estimates Kharkov metro will save up to 15 million hryvnias. Till December all pay desks will be closed. This arrangement will help Kharkov to make one more step forward to the level of modern developed European city. Current price of a token is 1.50 UAH.

 

Since people here still use the both variants of naming metro stations - Ukrainian and Russian ones - here is vocabulary for the most popular stations which have the biggest difference when translated:
