Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics was founded in 1930 and is considered as the oldest and one of the best universities of Ukraine in this field. Here you will receive the most up-to-date knowledge on electronics, electrical engineering, telecommunications, information and computer technologies.
The university trains more than 12 Ukrainian and foreign students in 34 specialties. The extensive research base of the university gives wonderful opportunities for the researches. Each year around 40 researches defend doctoral and Ph.D. thesises here. Among facilities of the university you will find university-wide computer network, a student television center, an electronic library, a satellite television laboratory, and many other laboratories such as microprocessor devices, information security, consumer electronics, bank technologies and other ones.   
More than 130 professors and 340 post-graduate degree holders teach to the students, encouraging researches in dozens of new scientific areas. One of the most important of them is the space researches. The university students together with the stuff had created different equipment for research of near-earth outer space.
The university cooperates with numerous European universities by participation in different international programs and integration into the European and world systems of higher education.
