So.. recently government started fighting with drinking in public places. First step taken was passing the law. Now it is not legal to drink in public places (neither smoking is but who cares in this country, eh?). Did you notice people with bottles in paper bags? No, its not a new brand - beer is being sold now in paper bags for you to "legally" drink in the street. If children don't see WHAT you are drinking, it means that you are NOT drinking. Even if you can hardly walk and it stinks alcohol several meters around you. Captain Evidence is working hard here. A sad thing is that beer is still being sold to kids (of course, in paper bags) in spite of the law.
One more "funny" thing about this law is.. the trash. The youth is drinking all night long in parks and squares. A lot of students, a lot of drinking, a lot of bottles. But in the morning you usually don't see those bottles - poor people are picking them up and selling. It's a well known way to survive for the poor. Usually a bottle is being picked up within 10 minutes after you put in on the ground (people here don't like trash bins, they prefer to throw everything right on the floor). The poor keep on taking the bottles but.. they don't need paper bags! So each morning you see all floor is flooded with trash.
Good law, bad execution.
