On Tsentralniy Rinok (Central market) you can buy really fresh and natural stuff - if you got used to eat tomatoes from supermarkets only, make sure to try those from market and feel the difference, feel the taste. Buying from local babushkas (grandmas) is also a good experience. The prices are also lower here but it doesn't mean that cheaper products here are worse, vice verse - babushkas pay less rent fee (if any - outside the market you always can find those who are selling illegally) and grew their carrots in their own gardens therefore save on expanses for delivery of products from China ;D
